Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the designated curriculum area(s) taught in the school, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation among teachers and students.
* Apply contemporary learning and teaching research to classroom practice through professional development of teachers engaged in the area(s) of curriculum responsibility, ensuring that best practices are implemented and sustained.
* Supervise and induct teachers engaged in the area(s) of curriculum responsibility, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
* Analyse student performance data and address areas of concern through appropriate interventions, ensuring that students receive the support they need to achieve academic success.
* Manage financial and material resources within the area of responsibility, making informed decisions to allocate resources effectively and efficiently.
About You:
* You will have developed work programs in alignment with national, state, and local requirements, demonstrating your ability to navigate complex regulations and policies.
* You will be driving the assessment and moderation process when developing new programs, ensuring that they are rigorous and effective.
* You will lead and innovate within a specified curriculum area, pushing the boundaries of what is possible and making a meaningful contribution to the school's mission.
* You will engage stakeholders, fostering collaboration and transparency throughout the school community.
* You will have responsibility for managing budgets and resources, making informed decisions to allocate them effectively.
