About the role
The Director, for Food Safety and Quality, APACSA is a critical leadership role and the key subject matter expert on food safety and quality, accountable for the region's Food Safety and Quality Programs. This position will have dotted line responsibility as APACSA representative to the Global Food Safety and Quality Leadership Team.
* Develop and implement a regional FS&Q strategy aligned with McCain’s business objectives, with clear plans, accountability, and reporting.
* Drive high performance and consistency across products and channels, supporting quality workstreams and fostering strong cross-functional collaboration.
* Lead and coach multi-functional teams to meet quality goals, ensuring products align with consumer expectations and continuous improvement is embedded across APACSA.
* Promote best practice sharing, talent development, and alignment across regions to strengthen FS&Q capability and outcomes.

About you
* 15+ years' experience in Food Safety & Quality, leading teams in matrixed, global environments
* Strong operational mindset; quickly builds credibility across the business
* Skilled in influencing cross-functional decision-making
* Business-savvy leader, driving strategic and operational FS&Q excellence
* Deep expertise in HACCP, Sanitary Design, Sanitation, and Quality Assurance
* Builds effective cross-functional partnerships to drive results
* Experienced in turnarounds and leading region-wide quality strategies
* Proven success in improving quality functions and stakeholder engagement
* Strong interpersonal skills; collaborates across diverse teams and cultures
* Effective in complex, multi-functional business settings
* High initiative with a track record of inspiring and motivating teams
* Experienced change leader in food quality and operational upgrades
