About the Role
* We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to provide personalized support, promoting independence and building meaningful connections.
* This role involves delivering care and support, planning activities, and attending appointments to promote social interaction and skill development.
Key Responsibilities
* Offer essential care and support to children and young people, including assistance with personal care and daily living skills.
* Plan and attend appointments and activities to promote social interaction and skill development.
* Complete daily case notes, administrative tasks, and incident reports.
Requirements
* Identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, and have relevant experience OR hold a Certificate IV in Disability Services, Community Services, Individual Support or equivalent.
* Current NSW Driver's Licence and willingness to drive.
* Valid First Aid & CPR Certificate.
* Paid Working with Children Check (WWCC).
* National Disability Insurance Scheme Worker Check (NDISWC).
* Willingness to be listed on the Residential Care Workers Register (RCWR).
* Availability to work across a 24/7 roster.
