Virtual Midwifery Support Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse/Midwife to join our Virtual Statewide Midwifery Intrapartum Support/Advice and Code Blue Midwifery team.
* Deliver real-time virtual midwifery support and clinical advice to regional/rural midwives during afterhours periods.
* Coordinate emergency response to obstetric and neonatal emergencies within the Women's and Babies Division.
* Conduct case reviews to provide guidance and support to midwives in isolated settings.
* Collect, maintain, and analyse data to assess service effectiveness and identify areas for service improvement.
* Participate in audits and quality assurance processes to monitor outcomes and recommend service enhancements.
* Collaborate with the Women's Assessment Service team to ensure alignment with service protocols and best practices.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse/Midwife or Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
* Effective communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
* Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
* Ability to prioritise workload and meet set timelines, whilst working under minimal supervision.
* Registered Midwife with at least 3 years post registration experience.
* Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of midwifery.
* Proficient with Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
