About the Role
DLG is evolving.
As a member of our Auto Services team, you'll help deliver high-quality repairs quickly for over 100,000 customers.
You will be part of a network of repair centres, working with other drivers under the guidance of the Transport Controller.
What You'll Do
Collect and deliver cars within agreed timescales, ensuring the customer receives a very best possible service on collection and delivery.
Handle all cash and credit card transactions, ensuring accuracy and following company procedures.
Complete forms to indicate any damage, highlight accident-related or old damage, take digital photographs, and obtain customer signatures.
Identify defects during loading/unloading or at the handover to the customer and bring them to the attention of the Production Manager; ensure all jobs are referenced and filed on completion.
What You'll Need
Permanent role, 45 hours a week.
HGV Class C driver licence.
Experience driving HGV Class 2 vehicles and within recovery.
Excellent customer-focused handling skills.
Knowledge of the area local to our repair centre.
Current valid driving licence meeting fleet insurance criteria, and Class "C" LGV licence.
Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
