About Us:
A J Stock has been established for over 125 years and is recognized as an industry leader in transport engineering and truck body building.
We currently have a permanent position available for an experienced and competent all-round fabricator ideally with some TIG and sheet metal experience to work in our engineering division
To be considered for this position, you will need to meet the following criteria:-
Relevant skills or qualifications in boiler making or fabrication with a minimum 1 year post-trade experience
MIG welding and fabrication to a high standard
Experience in TIG welding of aluminum and stainless steel would be an advantage
Experience in truck body building would be useful but not required
Team player, motivated self-starter with a can-do, hands-on approach
A genuine commitment to safety
Excellent communication skills
Have a high level of pride in workmanship and attention to detail
Stable work history
Strong technical ability with the ability to problem solve, read drawings, and show initiative
Fork lift license is preferable
Remuneration will be based on previous experience in a similar role.
