Job Title: Clinical Health Care Practitioner

The NHS in Ipswich seeks an enthusiastic Clinical Health Care Practitioner to join their busy team.


About the Role

* This role involves a wide range of tasks including routine vaccinations, child immunizations, travel risk assessments and advice on vaccinations, ECGs, cervical screening, travel and blood tests, long‑term condition reviews.


Key Responsibilities

* Routine injections and vaccinations
* Child immunisations and health checks
* Travel risk assessment and advice
* Cytology and smear testing
* Wound care and management
* Removal of sutures
* Chronic disease management, including asthma


Skills and Qualifications

* Knowledge of immunization protocols and procedures
* Familiarity with child health checks and vaccinations
* Ability to assess and provide travel risk advice
* Experience in cytology and smear testing
* Understanding of wound care and management principles
* Excellent communication skills
