About the Role:
Make a difference to our residents through the preparation of fabulous food!
Responsibilities
Assisting the Head Chef with the provision of internal and external catering functions and high-quality food service.
Maintaining a well organised food production and distribution operation ensuring that the needs of the residents, customers, staff, and the organisation are met.
Assisting in menu planning, standard recipe development and the dietary needs of the residents and customers.
Efficiently and effectively utilise the human, financial and physical resources available in accordance with budgetary guidelines.

Skills and Experiences
Key Role Requirements:
Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery.
Demonstrated experience cooking in a cafe or restaurant setting.
Permanent working rights within Australia.
National Police Clearance.
Covid 19 Vaccinations (highly desirable).
Effective organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks.
Knowledge of the Health Act 1911 (Food Standards), WHS regulations, Food Hygiene regulations, and Food Safety (HACCP) guidelines.
Safe use of chemicals and knowledge of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for all applicable chemicals.
