Academic Administration Officer
The Academic Administration Officer will provide exceptional service quality and customer-focused academic administration support across all aspects of the student and course lifecycle.
The role involves collaborating with academic leaders, faculty members and other stakeholders to ensure academic quality best practices are implemented and monitored that promote student success and academic achievement, and key stakeholder engagement and solution-based mindset is critical.
Location: Full-time permanent position, preferably at the Surry Hills campus, Sydney.
Candidates from Adelaide, Melbourne or Brisbane may be required to attend their respective city campus.
Key Responsibilities
Process academic administration tasks accurately and on time, ensuring full compliance with policies, regulatory requirements, ESOS and PRISMS obligations.
Provide high-quality customer service and clear academic information to students, staff and integrated campus teams.
Maintain accurate and compliant student and enrollment records across all systems, ensuring that approved changes and updates are consistently reflected.
Support governance committees, results entry, credit/RPL processing, examinations, course completions and graduation activities.
Support project timelines, onboarding and teaching agreements, contribute to quality and risk processes, and promote efficient, innovative and collaborative ways of working.
Who you are – Qualifications
Experience in academic administration functions, including knowledge of VET and HE regulatory requirements desirable.
Minimum 2 years' experience within the HE or VET sector is desirable.
Knowledge of ESOS, TEQSA and ASQA regulatory requirements and frameworks.
