OFO Collective is an Australian AI enablement consultancy. We build the operational systems that help agencies and operators scale without scaling headcount.
Our clients are media, marketing, and advertising agencies. We run a structured engagement model with each one. A trial month to prove value, then phased work that builds out their systems over time.
We are growing fast, and the pipeline is filling quickly. To keep up with the work and continue delivering the highest level of service, we need more talent on the team. The Role
You are the lead builder on a portfolio of clients.
Each client comes with a proposal that defines exactly what we are building, what success looks like, and when each piece is due. Your job is to deliver against that scope, on time, every week, at a quality level the client can rely on.
You will own the same clients each week. You will know their stack, their team, and their goals. You will join client calls with the account manager, lead the technical portion of the conversation, and run the build between meetings.
The work is wiring up CRMs, ad platforms, lead pipelines, reporting, and AI agents into clean, reliable workflows. Some of it is no-code. Some of it is custom. All of it has to work, and all of it has to make the client's business measurably better.
You will work directly with the account manager. The line between you, the account manager, and the client is short, which means the standard for delivery is high.
What You'll Do
* Start with one client at around 7 to 8 hours a week. Move to two, then three as you ramp up. Each client gets the same dedicated time at our base package.
* Build automations across n8n, Make, Zapier, and any other platforms the client already runs. We work with the client's existing stack, not against it.
* Write custom code in Python and Node when no-code can't do the job
* Wire LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic) into client workflows and agents
* Connect platforms via API: HubSpot, Apollo, Meta, GA4, Google Workspace, and more
* Maintain a high standard of security on the client's behalf. Handle credentials, API keys, and client data with care. Follow secure-by-default practices in everything you ship.
* Join client calls with the account manager. Lead the technical conversation. Ask the questions needed to deliver the next piece of work correctly.
* Document every system thoroughly. Each delivery includes a Loom walkthrough and a written handover the client's team can follow without you in the room.
* Train the client's staff directly. Run hands-on sessions, walk people through new systems, and answer questions until the team is confident using what we've built.
* Hit every deadline in the proposal. Raise blockers and risks early so we can adjust before they affect the client.
* Debug, monitor, and improve every system you build
What You Bring
* A broad understanding of tools integration, automation, and AI systems. You know how the pieces fit together.
* Hands-on experience with at least one of n8n, Make, or Zapier (ideally all three)
* Familiarity with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic) and how to use them inside real workflows
* Some coding experience in Python and / or JavaScript / Node. Enough to write custom logic when no-code hits a wall.
* Comfortable reading API docs and shipping work without daily oversight
* Security-aware. You understand the risks of handling client credentials, API keys, and data, and you build with security in mind from the start.
* A track record of integration or automation work you can walk us through
* Deadline discipline. You hit dates. If a date is at risk, you flag it early.
* Clear communicator. You write well, ask precise questions, and explain technical work to non-technical clients.
* Comfortable with people. You enjoy training client staff on new systems. You can run a hands-on training session and stay patient when the same question comes up twice.
* Strong documenter. You write clear walkthroughs and handovers that a non-technical user can follow on their own.
* Client-ready. You can lead the technical portion of a client call and represent OFO Collective professionally.
* Self-managing. You can hold multiple client workstreams in parallel without losing detail.

Bonus Points
* Sophisticated daily use of Claude (Opus, Sonnet) and / or ChatGPT in your own work. Not surface-level prompts — you've built real systems, workflows, and outputs with these tools.
* Hands-on experience with Claude Code, Claude Cowork, or similar agentic AI environments where you direct an AI to do real production work
* Built AI agents (LangChain, agent frameworks, or custom)
* Worked inside a media, marketing, or advertising agency before
* Worked with DOOH (Digital Out-of-Home) operators or ad-tech platforms
* Hands-on experience with HubSpot, Apollo, or Meta Ads APIs
* Solo founder or early-stage operator background
The Deal
* Rate: $50/hr AUD starting base. Rate grows as you move from casual to part-time to full-time, and as your client load increases.
* Engagement: ABN contractor, invoiced monthly
* Hours: Casual and consistent. Start with one client at ~7 to 8 hrs a week. Scale to two, then three as you ramp up. Hours grow with the client base.
* Path: Casual → part-time at 3 clients → full-time at 5 clients
* Trial: First 4 weeks as probation, then ongoing
* Schedule: Flexible hours. You manage your own time. Some overlap with AU business hours required for client calls.
* Location: Brisbane preferred for occasional in-person work. Remote across Australia considered for the right person.
* Tools: You bring your laptop. We use Notion, Loom, and Google Workspace. All easy to pick up if you haven't.
