We are seeking a highly driven Business Development Manager to join our client’s growing team. In this pivotal role, you will be driving business development and sales for our client’s cutting-edge wireless solutions for enterprise and government customers. Our client is a leading specialist in advanced digital communications solutions and services. They are passionate about delivering innovative and high-quality solutions that help their customers achieve their business objectives. Consultative selling capability and experience in shaping deals are highly regarded. Technical knowledge of wireless solutions is not essential. You will be supported by a strong engineering and pre-sales team. Benefits include Uncapped commissions Private health insurance Access to novated leases and assistance with purchasing a new vehicle Flexible working conditions Up to 14 weeks of paid parental leave for primary carer and 2 weeks for secondary carer Ongoing training and development Key Responsibilities Generate market demand and identify high-potential target customers Develop and present compelling value propositions to decision makers Progress opportunities through the sales cycle, working collaboratively with internal teams Close profitable deals and exceed customer expectations Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders up to C-level, including within the mobile network operators, government agencies, large enterprises and/or real estate investment trust (REIT)s Provide inputs to the solution set based on customer and market feedback Position our client as a key ecosystem player and partner Skills and Experience 10 years of business development experience, with a proven track record of success in winning new business Experience in consultative selling and shaping creatively solutions and deals Comfortable at engaging with executives up to C-level Trained in one of well-established sales methodologies Ability to facilitate, influence, and drive opportunities to completion Experience managing strategically sensitive, complex bids and proposals Excellent commercial acumen and negotiation skills Vertical industry insight (e.g., mobile network operators, commercial buildings/properties, REIT, large venues, ports/transport, industrial, logistics, manufacturing, healthcare, government, large enterprises) with strong customer relationships Experience in Private Wireless Networks or In-Building Coverage (IBC/DAS) solutions is advantageous.
