THE OPPORTUNITY
This position is perfect for an accountant with 2+ years' experience in a CA/CPA firm. You'll handle a range of accounting tasks and contribute to the firm's success while enjoying a supportive and dynamic work environment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
4. Prepare individual tax returns and assist with BAS statement, financials etc.
5. Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and compliant accounting processes
6. Provide general tax and accounting support to clients from diverse sectors
7. Maintain high standards of client and colleague communication
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
8. Minimum 2 years' experience in an Australian accounting firm
9. Proficiency in accounting software (Xero experience is a plus)
10. Strong skills in preparing tax returns and financial statements
11. Excellent organsational skills and attention to detail
12. Effective communication skills with clients and team members
13. Australian citizen preferably a Mackay/North Queensland resident
