Project engineer - demolition, decommissioning & remediation

The Role

Reporting to the Project Director, the Project Engineer will be responsible for a new and exciting scope of works. Being part of the daily 'life cycle' of the project you will build on trust, respect and integrity whilst developing and nurturing internal and external relationships. Problem solving, troubleshooting with good project execution practices are a must. The role will require you to have a minimum 3 years' experience working as a Project Engineer in the demolition, construction, or civil / structural engineering industry.

Key Duties

Day to day tasks include but not limited to:

* Providing engineering support using AutoCAD, REVIT, and 3D modelling software.
* Support the production of Tender deliverables.
* Preparation and updating of Project Risk Registers.
* Manage and maintain project documentation, ensuring that all documents are up-to-date, accurate, and easily accessible.
* Implement and monitor document control procedures and standards in line with internal and Client led processes.
* Develop and maintain the project budgets, including monitoring and controlling project costs.
* Prepare cost estimates and forecasts for project activities, materials, and resources.
* Track and report on project cost performance and develop recommendations for cost control and budget management.
* Develop and maintain the project schedule, including milestones, critical paths, and project dependencies.
* Collaborate with project team to identify and mitigate potential risks and delays.

About You

You will be degree qualified who is self-motivated and results driven. Ideally you will have qualifications in civil, structural, environmental, or mechanical engineering, however we will consider all other disciplines. Having the ability to multi-task your day, with well-developed inter-personal skills in a busy and thriving environment are just some of the qualities we are looking for.
