About the role
CAREER MEDICAL OFFICER (PGY3+) URGENT CARE AND INPATIENT SERVICES – CASUAL
Colac Area Health is a values-based organisation providing a unique integrated health service comprising of over 500 employees, providing Acute Care, Aged Care, Community and Allied Health Services.
This role is responsible in providing effective supervised day to day clinical management of both ambulatory and admitted patients/resident/clients within Colac Area Health whilst fulfilling Medical Board of Australia pre-registration training requirements.
Areas of work while at Colac Area Health include Urgent Care and Inpatient Services (Acute Ward).
What’s required?
* Bachelor Medicine, Bachelor Surgery: Australian/New Zealand Graduate or fully qualified AMC graduate.
* Demonstrated relevant experience (minimum 3 years) as a Hospital Medical Officer in a hospital setting, with some (minimum of 1 year) in the Australian Healthcare system.
* General registration (unconditional) with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulatory Authority (AHPRA), with no restrictions.
* Current Basic Life Support.
* Right to work in Australia
