What's the opportunity?
We're interested in talking to professionals who are looking for full-time work and a varied client base. This role is being offered as a 12-month contract with an opportunity to discuss ongoing employment upon expiry for the right candidate.
Generally speaking, the role involves:
* Assistance with the management and oversight of the end-to-end conveyancing process for private contracts for sale, property settlements, family and matrimonial transfers and land divisions
* Growing and nurturing your relationship with clients, colleagues and other external stakeholders including real estate agents, brokers and banks
* Preparation of electronic payments using PEXA to complete settlements and payments of outstanding rates and taxes
* Using online platforms and portals to conduct searches, lodge applications and documents
* Demonstrate full compliance with regulations governing Trust Account use and operation
What are our non-negotiables?
Aside from a professional nature and an 'all-in' attitude towards our team culture, you'll also have:
* 5+ years' experience in a Conveyancing role running your own files, and a current Conveyancing License
* Strong knowledge of property law and external factors influencing our industry
* A natural ability to master the details in pursuit of delivering a high-quality client experience
* Experience using PEXA and online platforms to conduct searches and lodge applications
* A sound understanding of Trust Account regulations
