The Role
We're seeking an experienced Engineering Team Lead to help us launch a new product offering. Initially, you'll focus on delivery, and as the team grows, you'll progress into recruiting and leading a full team of engineers.
You'll be responsible for:
* Collaborating with product and design teams to support product development, engage with stakeholders, shape team strategy, and define project roadmaps.
* Leading engineers, including recruiting, managing, mentoring, and coaching.
* Owning team processes and rituals.
We're looking for someone with:
* 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
* Experience as a technical leader with a background in development across multiple technologies, including React, Node JS, Typescript, Java, Python, Postgres, CDK, and AWS (or another cloud provider).
* A proven track record in designing, building, deploying, and operating complex applications.
* An entrepreneurial mindset, focusing on business outcomes and collaborating with product managers, designers, and customers.
* Experience assessing multiple solutions for problems and iterating using a structured approach.
* Curiosity and a leadership style that encourages experimentation and innovation.
