We're seeking a proactive and hands‐on Operations Supervisor to lead civil operations teams and help deliver essential infrastructure services to the community.
About the Role
* Supervise and support operational maintenance and construction teams across roads, drainage, footpaths and transport infrastructure.
* Coordinate daily and weekly work schedules to ensure planned and reactive maintenance programs are delivered efficiently.
* Monitor plant, equipment, materials and contractor activities to maximise productivity and service delivery.
* Support inspections, project works, quality assurance activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Lead a strong safety culture with a focus on WHS compliance, toolbox meetings and safe operational practices.
Role Requirements
* Demonstrated experience in civil construction, road maintenance or infrastructure operations within local government, Main Roads or a contractor environment.
* Proven leadership experience supervising teams in a civil, engineering or operational setting.
* Strong knowledge of road maintenance practices, traffic management, WHS regulations and operational procedures.
* Well‐developed organisational, communication and administrative skills, including scheduling, record keeping and procurement processes.
* Current C Class Driver's Licence, First Aid Certificate and Traffic Management accreditation (or willingness to obtain).
