We are seeking a skilled and experienced chef to join our kitchen team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing their own section of the kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of freshness, quality, and presentation of dishes.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading a team of junior chefs and providing guidance and support to ensure consistent high-quality results.
* Assisting with menu planning and development, including sourcing seasonal ingredients and creating new dishes.
* Ensuring accurate stock control and contributing to ordering processes to minimize waste and optimize inventory.
* Maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment, adhering to HACCP protocols and best practices.
Required skills and qualifications include:
* Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience in a relevant role.
* Demonstrated passion for cooking and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
* Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to mentor and develop junior staff.
* HACCP knowledge and food safety certification an advantage.
