Child & Youth Sexual Assault Counsellor (Crisis + Ongoing)

About the Role
* Provide therapeutic counselling and support to children, young people, and families impacted by sexual assault.
* Participate in multidisciplinary crisis response and child-protection taskforce meetings.
* Deliver education, training, and advice to raise awareness and strengthen community prevention.
* Build strong partnerships with health and community services to enhance support for young clients.
* Participate in the on-call roster as required and maintain service quality and safety standards.
What You'll Need
* Relevant tertiary degree as a Social Worker, Counsellor or Registered Psychologist
* AASW, AHPRA, APS membership
* Australian working rights - working holiday visa's welcome
* Minimum 3 years experience delivering counselling to children and young people affected by trauma or sexual assault.
* Knowledge of crisis intervention models and trauma-informed practice.
* Excellent teamwork, communication, and organisational skills.
* Understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural issues.
* Experience delivering education or training focused on young people.
* Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement.
* Valid driver's licence
