Position Summary

The Pre-Sales Consultant is responsible for collaborating and providing technical and solution design assistance to the Australia based Account Executives, and to support all members of the Global Sales Team as required and requested by the Head of Sales. The primary focus of this role is to support the sales process by providing technical expertise and solutions to potential clients, customers, and partners. This includes preparing customer demonstrations, understanding customer requirements and interfacing with the product development team.

As a key driver of regional growth, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a cutting-edge safety SaaS company, helping to prevent fatalities in high-risk industries.

This is a 100% remote position.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Technical pre-sales with key prospects including demonstration and consultations.
2. Establish credibility and build relationships with key stakeholders.
3. Serve as a means of translation between technical and non-technical audiences, both internally and externally.
4. Identify and document key customer requirements, challenges, and potential opportunities and articulate the most appropriate solution.
5. Work closely with the sales team to help close business.
6. Work closely with external channel partners.
7. Assist in responding to functional and technical elements of RFPs (requests for proposal).
8. Support the team to research, identify and qualify sales prospects.

Knowledge and Skills:

1. Prior experience in Pre-Sales is necessary.
2. Qualification or practical background in IT/SaaS domain.
3. Effectively articulate technology and solution positioning to both business and technical users.
4. Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
5. Demonstrated initiative, proactivity, self-starting attitude, and ability to work with minimal guidance.
6. Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
7. Familiarity with data analysis and reporting.
8. Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of an organisation.
9. Experience in SaaS solutions.
