We are a proud WA family-owned and operated wardrobe company with over 30 years' experience specialising in custom Sliding Robes, Walk-in Wardrobes, Built-In Wardrobes and Dressing Room fit-outs.
Operating across three divisions—Private Customers, Home Builders, and Commercial Developments—we are expanding our team and seeking a motivated Apprentice Cabinet Maker to join our factory in Wangara.
About the Role
This hands-on apprenticeship is ideal for someone looking to begin a long-term career in cabinet making. Working alongside experienced tradespeople, you will learn all aspects of cabinet and wardrobe construction in a supportive and well-established environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist tradespeople with the construction of cabinets, wardrobes and joinery components
Learn and apply basic cabinet-making techniques under supervision
Operate hand and power tools safely as skills develop
Measure, cut and prepare timber, board products and hardware
Assist with assembling cabinet components and fittings
Maintain a clean, safe and organised workspace
Load and unload materials and finished products
Help package and prepare jobs for installation or delivery
Follow all workplace health & safety procedures and use PPE
Attend on-the-job and off-the-job training to complete apprenticeship requirements
Support general factory labouring tasks including sweeping, waste disposal and machine clean-ups
Participate in stock handling, receiving and storage
Ask questions, seek feedback and actively grow your skills
About You – The Ideal Candidate
A recent school leaver with a genuine interest in cabinet making or hands-on trades
Positive attitude with a strong willingness to learn
Reliable with a solid work ethic and consistent attendance
Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
Physically capable and comfortable with manual labour
Safety-conscious and mature when working around tools and machinery
Motivated to build a long-term career in the cabinet making industry
Shows initiative and eagerness to develop new skills
