This is a newly established role supporting the launch and growth of the Queensland LGBTQIA+ Alliance. As part of the inaugural team, you will play a foundational role in building strong operational systems that enable the organization to thrive.
Job Description:
The Business Operations Officer will provide essential support across key business areas including finance, payroll, grant writing, business development, and general administration. You will work closely with the Executive Leader to ensure that the organization meets its strategic objectives and delivers high-quality outcomes for LGBTQIA+ communities across Queensland.
Key Responsibilities:
* Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the Executive Leader and other team members as required.
* Policies and Procedures: Assist with the development and implementation of business operations policies and procedures.
* Financial Management: Manage finances, payroll, and grants to ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
* Business Development: Support business development initiatives to grow the organization's presence and influence within the community.
* Stakeholder Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including community groups, government agencies, and corporate partners.
Requirements:
