The Engineered Solutions Role
This is an exciting Melbourne-based opportunity where you'll lead the technical sales efforts for Engineered Solutions within Humes precast concrete business. You'll grow sales opportunities, set strategic direction, and implement plans to achieve targets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Attain specifications and provide technical support to achieve sales objectives.
* Cover key markets with specifiers, asset owners, regulators, contractors, and developers.
* Present to clients on a monthly basis.
* Collaborate with local sales resources to ensure accuracy and professionalism of offered solutions.
* Develop custom solutions for customers to implement Value-Based pricing principles.
* Prepare engineered solutions, quotations, and budget estimates with Humes' technical teams.
* Attend client installations when beneficial.
* Develop a yearly Territory Plan.
* Work closely with Tier One clients.
* Participate in CRM activities, including industry events.
* Record marketing and CRM activities.
* Conduct regular market research to identify regional projects.
About You:
* Hold qualifications in civil/structural/mechanical engineering or related subjects.
* Experience in civil or industrial manufacturing and sales is highly valued.
* Consulting or contracting experience will also be considered.
* Demonstrate a solid understanding of the civil engineering market.
* Understand the design process and consulting engineers' interactions.
* Marry Humes manufacturing competencies with customer requirements.
* Become an expert in engaging consultants, project managers, and council officers.
* Present confidently to groups of technically capable practitioners.
* Strategic thinking and reasoning skills are essential.
* High energy levels and self-motivation are required.
