About The Role
The District Activities Officer role will support the Multi-Purpose Sites - Activities Officers across the Local Health District to develop person centred activities and group activities in line with the New Aged Care Act.

The District Activities Officer will work closely with the Residential Aged Care – Clinical Nurse Specialist and the Residential Aged Care - Manager as part of the Health District’s Rural Sectors.

The Activities Officer will have the opportunity to work across many sites and be a resource person for the activities in the Multi-Purpose Site. There is a requirement that the District Activity Officer will travel to the site to assist the site team to embed the activities and provide guidance on monitoring and maintaining the resources.

You’ll be working with a supportive team of people who are very passionate about the everyday lives of each person in our care.
