Salary: $135,826.04 – $138,534.10 per annum + 12% super & salary packaging | Permanent Full‑Time | REQ | Grade 2

About The Role
The Nurse Educator will provide planning, development, delivery, and evaluation of education programs at the facility level to support evidence‑based, person‑centred care within the Drug and Alcohol Service. Responsibilities include orientation and/or transition for new nursing staff, meeting ongoing educational needs of existing nursing staff, supporting clinical placement of students, collaborating with the D&A Service Nurse Unit Manager, developing clinical education programs, providing clinical supervision at point of care, and focusing on quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, develop, deliver, and evaluate education programs at the facility level.
* Support orientation and transition for new nursing staff and casual nurses.
* Meet ongoing educational needs of existing nursing staff.
* Support clinical placement of students.
* Collaborate with the D&A Service Nurse Unit Manager and wider hospital teams.
* Develop, implement, and evaluate clinical education programs relevant to the D&A specialty.
* Provide clinical supervision at point of care.
* Maintain an ongoing focus on quality and safety.
Requirements
* Applicable vaccination requirements for a Category A role.
* Working With Children Check (WWCC).
* Current AHPRA Registration.
* Valid NSW Driver's Licence.
Qualifications and Preferences
Relevant nursing qualifications and experience in education and drug & alcohol services preferred.
