Key Account Manager - Business Development
About the Role
As a Key Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in sustaining strong relationships with existing customers and driving new business opportunities.
Based in Perth, you will actively promote Liebherr's mining machinery and services while expanding our customer base through strategic business growth initiatives.
Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, you will deliver tailored solutions that enhance customer value and commercial performance.
Your responsibilities include preparing quotations and tenders, implementing sales initiatives, and addressing customer needs to ensure long-term satisfaction and continued business growth.
What You'll Need to Succeed
Proven track record in selling large surface mining equipment – excavators, dump trucks, and dozers.
Sharp analytical, negotiation, and customer service skills that drive results.
Commercially savvy with experience managing key accounts and winning new business through prospecting, networking, and relationship growth.
Technically confident, capable of preparing compelling proposals and managing complex commercial relationships.
Exceptional communicator and relationship builder, able to influence and connect at all levels.
Proactive, adaptable, and strategically minded – you create opportunities rather than just react to them.
