* Location: Across Multiple Western Health Sites
* Employment Type: Ongoing, Full Time
* Salary: Grade 3 - Year 1 to Year 4 (SX6 to SX81) + Superannuation + Salary Packaging
Key Responsibilities
* Provide leadership and expertise in medication safety, supporting compliance with NSQHS Standard 4 Medication Safety and Clinical Care Standards.
* Support development and implementation of the medication safety program, including risk assessments, audits, incident analysis and improvement plans.
* Monitor and report on medication safety performance using data to identify trends and inform risk management strategies.
* Deliver education and training on medication safety, and support research and quality improvement initiatives.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective medication practices across Western Health.
About You
* A minimum of 5 years of hospital pharmacy experience across diverse settings.
* Proven clinical expertise and strong knowledge of pharmacy legislation, accreditation standards and medication safety principles.
* Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
* Demonstrated involvement with medication safety quality improvement initiatives, data analysis and evidence-based decision-making.
* Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Commitment to professional development, continuous learning and staying current with best practices in medication safety.
