The Opportunity
The Electrician is responsible for the safe, compliant and reliable operation of all electrical infrastructure, systems and equipment across the health service. This includes acute care areas, aged care, clinical support areas, plant rooms, staff accommodation and external facilities.
The role ensures all electrical works comply with Victorian electrical safety legislation, Australian Standards, health service risk management requirements and the Maintenance VPS Enterprise Agreement. The position directly contributes to patient safety, clinical continuity and hospital accreditation by ensuring electrical systems are safe, functional and fit for purpose.
