Our brand-recent refurbishment ambiance is matched by attentive service and classic Italian fare, delivered with professionalism and care.
Position
Tropicana Caffe' is seeking an experienced and passionate Chef de Partie (Italian Cuisine) to be part of our kitchen brigade, you will work closely with our Head Chef taking charge of your section and playing a key role in the creation of dishes that excite and delight our guests at this iconic restaurant in Darlinghurst Sydney.
Minimum Requirements
- A valid working visa or Australian residency.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and hygiene regulations
- Work closely with the front-of-house team to provide an exceptional dining experience
- A relevant trade qualification for chefs is preferred or 3 years relevant experience in lieu of qualification
- At least two years’ experience in Italian or Mediterranean-inspired kitchens with deep understanding of traditional recipes, flavour profiles and cooking techniques
- Strong English communications skills
- Skills in creating fresh pasta
- Demonstrated commitment to using fresh, high-quality ingredients and upholding food safety standards
