About The RoleThe City of Melbourne's Community and City Services Division is committed to placing people, families, and communities at the centre of everything we do. Within this division, the Community Development branch supports the organisation by applying a community development approach that fosters an empowered, engaged, and inclusive community.
We are currently seeking a Senior Advisor – Community Engagement and Impact to join our team. This role works closely with internal stakeholders across the City of Melbourne to optimise the social value created through projects and initiatives.
The Senior Advisor provides tailored advice and support to project teams, guided by a tiered resourcing framework that prioritises work based on its potential community impact.
A key focus of this role is contributing to the development and implementation of a framework that assesses and measures the social value of City of Melbourne projects. Drawing on this framework, the Senior Advisor will support teams across a range of strategic priorities, including diversity and inclusion, community engagement and participation, and sustainability.
