CareerMode are partnering exclusively with a listed, multi-national organisation in a booming sector that is now expanding its Queensland operations. This is a rare opportunity to join a high-performing national finance team at a pivotal time in their growth.
We're seeking an experienced Financial Accountant who wants to step into a broad, hands‑on role covering financial reporting, strengthening internal controls and governance, statutory compliance, and driving the month‑end process from end to end.
You'll be supported by an experienced CFO and a capable transactional team, while also working closely with key operational stakeholders to ensure financial processes genuinely support and accelerate business performance.
Most importantly, you'll be joining during a phase of significant expansion, meaning real scope to shape the role, contribute strategically, and open the door to strong career development pathways.
The role
* Take control of monthly, quarterly, half‑year, and year‑end financial reporting
* Month end processes
* Group consolidations
* Management reporting
* Assisting group budgeting and forecasting process
* Assisting with tax and compliance, BAS, FBT, and Payroll Tax
* Manage audit process with external auditors
* Assist with Payroll
* Inventory analysis
About you
* CA or CPA with a strong technical foundation and a proven track record in a commercial financial accounting position
* Confident leading financial reporting and month‑end processes and has exposure to management reporting, budgeting & forecasting, FX, costings, and inventory analysis
* Background in a large FMCG or manufacturing business would be highly advantageous
