As we look to grow our maintenance division in **** and beyond, we have an exciting opportunity for a passionate horticulturist to join our team as a Qualified Garden Maintenance Supervisor.
Qualifications
Has prior experience in the same or a similar role with demonstrated knowledge in ALL areas of gardening (including plant knowledge)
Is passionate about horticulture and has an eagerness to learn and develop their skills as well as lead and impart knowledge to other employees, especially apprentices
Is a supportive team player who helps to foster a culture of collaboration to achieve the best outcomes for our clients' gardens
Has a Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks and Gardens (or is close to completion)
Has sound pest, disease and irrigation knowledge
Has excellent written and verbal communication skills
Maintains a high professional standard by taking an organised and efficient approach to tasks and responsibilities, and can problem-solve when required
Third-year apprentices who want to develop into a leadership role are also encouraged to apply

Responsibilities
Complete general garden maintenance tasks such as mowing, weeding, mulching, hedging, irrigation repairs, pest and disease identification and control
Take ownership of your own client list and the progression of the gardens you are working in
Share your skills and knowledge with apprentices in a positive team environment
Work exclusively in the inner eastern suburbs of Melbourne (Canterbury, Camberwell, Kew, Hawthorn, Toorak, etc.)
