**About the Early Childhood Outcomes Division**
The Early Childhood Outcomes (ECO) Division leads the delivery of early childhood education and care (ECEC) initiatives, overseeing comprehensive investments in child development and in early education and care, making investments that support families and the community now, as well as investing in long term reforms for the future. As a member of the Sector & Community Readiness team, you will help shape initiatives and work on projects that prepare our communities and the sector for the journey ahead. Ensuring they have the best opportunity to embrace initiatives and achieve outcomes.
**About the Role**
In this role you will partner with project teams across the Early Childhood Outcomes (ECO) Division to understand and support sector and community readiness.
Your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Working with stakeholders across ECO to support project-specific work that informs policy decision-making
- Supporting with stakeholder engagement activities to understand issues and opportunities facing the ECEC sector and communities
- Supporting the team to draft stakeholder engagement materials for planning and scheduling
- Working with project teams to analyse qualitative and quantitative findings of sector engagement
- Supporting the team with drafting reports and presentations

**Essential requirements of the role**
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or demonstrated equivalent knowledge and/or experience.
- A valid Working with Children Check for paid employment.
- Demonstrated understanding of, and commitment to, the value of public education.
**Key knowledge and experience**
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
