About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated Food and Environmental Services Assistant to join our Patient Food and Environmental Services team at St Vincent's Private Community Hospital Griffith (SVPCHG). This is a permanent part time role 20 hours a fortnight.
Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
* Serving Meals and Beverages to patients.
* Following meal reports and work schedules.
* Tray assembly according to meal tickets.
* Cleaning and Washing up responsibilities
* Housekeeping to meet the needs of patients in both Theatre/ Ward and clients in a professional and timely manner
The skills required are:
* Experience working within a hospital food services setting or hospitality environment.
* Ability to work within a team or unsupervised.
* Good communication and customer service skills.
* Attention to detail.
* Commitment to continued professional development.
* Punctuality and flexibility to cover shifts over 7 days.
* Able to follow instructions and food safety principles.
