We are seeking a Lecturer in (Teaching and Research) in Sport and Exercise Science to join our team at Ipswich or Toowoomba campus. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of future health professionals through high-quality education and impactful research.

What you'll do
* Deliver high-quality, student-centred teaching in Sport and Exercise Science, informed by scholarly practice, contemporary evidence, and innovative digital technologies.
* Develop and sustain a strong academic profile, building a reputation for excellence in teaching, scholarship, and research within the discipline.
* Conduct and contribute to impactful research, producing high-quality outputs, attracting research income, and supporting HDR students to successful and timely completion.
* Engage in meaningful service activities, contributing to a positive School and University culture and fostering external partnerships with industry, government, and community.
* Actively pursue professional and leadership development, maintaining disciplinary currency and contributing to academic leadership within the School and Centre (where applicable).
* Uphold the highest standards of professional conduct, integrity, and compliance with University policies, including health, safety, and ethical responsibilities.

What will help you succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* A Doctoral or Master’s qualification in sport and exercise science or a related discipline.
* Registration as an Accredited Exercise Scientist and/or Clinical Exercise Physiologist with Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA) is highly desirable.
* Demonstrated teaching experience in higher education, with a student-centred and inclusive approach. We are particularly seeking experience in teaching Physical Activity and Health, Behaviour Change and/or Clinical Exercise Physiology.
* A developing research profile with evidence of scholarly outputs and/or funding potential.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across diverse teams.
