We have a great opportunity for a Civil Engineer to join our Community Development team in Darwin. Reporting to the Civil Team Lead, you will have an opportunity to work on and manage civil design projects including roads infrastructure, subdivisions and remote community facilities. This is a great career pathway for an experienced Civil Engineer who seeks to grow their technical and leadership capabilities in a global engineering consultancy.
About The Role
This role includes project design and delivery across a range of projects and sectors. Projects range from early concept design and master planning through to detailed design, construction documentation and supervision. The role will require independent design, project delivery and stakeholder management. The role will suit an experienced Civil Engineer with Australian experience, someone who has good technical design background, strong consulting engineering and project delivery skills over a range of projects.
Day To Day Tasks
* Civil design and project management across a wide range of projects
* Construction phase support, design review, stakeholder management, liaison with authorities, reporting, contract administration and quality audits.
* Liaising with engineers, designers, and drafters
* Adhering to professional standards, ethics and Stantec quality procedures.
* Managing clients and other consultants.
* Assist with project management and business development.
To Be Successful For This Role
* Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering recognised by Engineers Australia
* Demonstrated experience in civil engineering design and documentation
* Knowledge of applicable Australian standards, codes and Territory requirements
* Obtain CP Eng and NT Registration as soon as eligible
* Eligible to obtain Defence baseline security clearance
