About the Role
We are seeking a skilled ICT Business Analyst to join our growing technology team. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to review business processes, define system requirements, and support the delivery of technology solutions that align with organisational goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather, document, and analyse business requirements.
* Evaluate existing IT systems, workflows, and processes, identifying areas for optimisation or improvement.
* Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications for development teams.
* Conduct feasibility studies, cost-benefit analyses, and alternative solution assessments.
* Work with project managers, developers, and testers to ensure solutions meet agreed requirements.
* Support system implementation activities including UAT planning, test case development, and end-user training.
* Maintain documentation including business cases, process maps, user stories, and data models.
* Analyse data to produce insights and assist in strategic decision-making.
* Ensure solutions align with organisational standards, compliance requirements, and IT best practices.
Skills & Experience Required
* Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
* Minimum 2–3 years' experience in an ICT Business Analyst, ICT Analyst, or similar role.
* Strong experience in requirements gathering, process modelling (e.g., BPMN), and business process improvement.
* Demonstrated ability to translate technical concepts into clear business language.
* Experience working within Agile or hybrid project environments.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
* Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and presentation abilities.
Desirable Experience
* Experience with enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, workflow automation).
* Data analysis skills using SQL, Power BI, or similar tools.
* Exposure to API integrations, system testing, or solution design.
* Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, BABOK, Agile BA).
