We are currently seeking a CASUAL Hydraulic Mechanical Fitter to join our team at Port Hedland, working in our workshop. The role requires a strong work ethic, customer focus, and safety awareness. The successful candidate will typically work dayshift, with flexible hours between 7am – 5pm, and occasional night shifts for site assignments up to five days.
Requirements
Your experience may vary, but we are interested in candidates with backgrounds in:
Heavy and/or Light Automotive servicing, repair, and maintenance
Field Service and Mobile Maintenance activities
Industrial Hydraulics Equipment & Systems
Mine Site Shutdown & Maintenance work
Engineering Workshop or Fabrication experience
Equipment Maintenance and Calibration
Equipment Asset Management programs
Equipment Test/Tag/Calibration processes
Hydraulic Jacking Equipment service, repair, and maintenance
The service, repair, and maintenance of pneumatic and hydraulic equipment across various industries
Customer Site based Service/Repair, Test, Tag, and Calibration activities
Responsibilities
Key activities include:
Fault finding and problem solving
Conducting equipment assessments, servicing, and repairs
Participating in planned Test, Tag, and Calibration of customer equipment
Preparing work activity summaries for customer reports
Providing excellent customer service
Supporting team members as part of a small branch team
Performing planned and preventative maintenance
Assisting with technical services and maintenance work
Offering maintenance advice
About You
Australian Recognised Trade Certificate (Cert III or above)
Australian Drivers Licence
Ability to work proactively in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organizational and teamwork skills
Ability to work autonomously within a flexible team
Ability to read hydraulic drawings
Basic hydraulic and electrical experience (advantageous)
