Reporting into CPU Sales & Distribution Manager, the Merchandise Coordinator will join our team on a Full-time basis at our South Guildford branch. This role involves providing excellent customer service to CAT shop patrons to ensure growth and stability of Caterpillar merchandise sales.
Roster: Monday – Friday 8.5 hours/ day (including meal break)
What You'll Do:
1. Assist CAT shop customers with their inquiries, ensuring prompt and helpful responses.
2. Coordinate stock orders with suppliers, maintaining good relationships.
3. Use effective marketing and sales techniques to display products attractively.
4. Process all orders promptly and inform customers of any backorders or discontinued items.
5. Manage stock, including ordering, receiving, picking, packing, and fulfilling orders according to customer delivery or collection specifications.
6. Cover CSC Reception Area breaks, and any other leave when required.
Skills & Experience:
1. Previous experience in a customer service and/or sales role.
2. Experience working with SAP & DBS is highly desirable.
3. Advanced computer literacy skills (MS Office Suite and internet-based application skills).
4. Demonstrated time management and organisational skills.
5. Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
