We are seeking a Project Coordinator to plan and undertake the administration of organisational programs and special projects across our processing, maintenance, compliance and export support functions. You will work closely with senior management and project leads to keep projects on track, manage documentation and reporting, and support successful delivery of site initiatives.

About the role

In this full time role, you will coordinate and administer projects and programs that support facility operations and export outcomes. This includes planning and organising project administration, managing documentation and reporting, coordinating stakeholders, and helping resolve operational issues that impact delivery.

Key responsibilities

* Develop, review and negotiate variations to programs, projects and services, including facility upgrades, maintenance projects, export compliance activities and supply chain initiatives.
* Coordinate with project managers and technical stakeholders including engineering teams, equipment suppliers, and external specialists to ensure goals, timelines and deliverables are met.
* Respond to inquiries and resolve issues affecting projects, services provided, and staff or contractors impacted by project activities.
* Oversee work undertaken by external contractors on site and report on variations to work orders, timelines, scope and site access requirements.
* Collect and analyse project data such as yield, efficiency, downtime, export processing performance or service outcomes, and prepare clear reports and updates for senior management.
* Manage project paperwork and records including submissions, approvals, registers, meeting notes, action lists, compliance documentation and reporting packs.
* Use structured project coordination tools such as Gantt charts, risk registers, risk matrices, project reports and timesheets to monitor progress and support decision making.

Required qualifications and experience

* A qualification comparable Project Management, Business, or a related field.
* Demonstrated 3 years of experience coordinating and administering projects or programs using a clear project methodology.
* Strong capability with project coordination tools including schedules, risk documentation, reporting and tracking.
* Experience in an abattoir, food manufacturing, agriculture, logistics or export environment is preferred but not essential.

Skills and competencies

* Strong administration and coordination skills, with high attention to detail.
* Clear communication and stakeholder management skills, including confident reporting to senior management.
* Ability to manage competing priorities and implement decisions in a fast paced production environment.
