Our Client, Churchill Services of Australia, is seeking experienced Diesel Motor Mechanics to join their operations. The successful candidates will play a key role in maintaining, repairing, and servicing their fleet of heavy vehicles and mobile plant.
Key Responsibilities
* Inspect, diagnose, and repair heavy vehicles including Rigids, Agitator Trucks, Volvo, Isuzu, and Hino models.
* Conduct mechanical and electrical fault diagnosis and troubleshooting.
* Perform routine maintenance on engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, and hydraulic systems.
* Ensure compliance with safety standards, legislation, and accreditation requirements.
* Provide technical advice and support to colleagues.
* Be available for occasional field work, breakdowns, and overtime.
Requirements
* Trade qualifications in diesel mechanics (or equivalent).
* Minimum 3 years' experience with heavy vehicles and mobile plant.
* Demonstrated experience in fleet maintenance, servicing, and repairs.
* Ability to work independently and take initiative.
* Heavy Vehicle license advantageous.
* Medically fit, able to undertake pre-employment assessment including drug and alcohol screening.
