Following the Australian Government's decision to acquire UH-60M Black Hawk helicopters from the US Government, Lockheed Martin Australia has established a team of experienced military Rotary Wing professionals to support procurement and sustainment activities.
The UH-60M Black Hawk is a multi-role battlefield and special operations helicopter with a proven legacy of capability and reliability.
Lockheed Martin Australia aims to deliver a sovereign sustainment capability for the Australian UH-60M Black Hawk program.
The Forward Arming and Refuelling Point (FARP) Team Leader (FARP TL) is an operational support leadership role within AAvnTC Operations, responsible for supervising aircraft refuelling and arming, maintaining GCAS equipment and vehicles, and conducting accounting duties for FARP Operators.
The FARP TL may hold Supply Customer Account (SCA) status within AAvnTC.
This role also involves duties as a Trade Supervisor and Hot Refuel Supervisor.
Your responsibilities will include :
Perform helicopter refuelling operations in deployed and domestic environments.
Conduct FQC sampling and testing according to policies and procedures.
Calibrate and test refuelling equipment.
Manage hot and cold refuelling on UH-60M helicopters.
Complete documentation related to aircraft refuelling.
Implement safety precautions to minimize hazards during refuelling.
Perform operator maintenance and technical inspections on refuelling assets and Support and Test Equipment (ST&E).
Oversee WH&S protocols, especially concerning aviation fuels during storage, testing, and distribution.
About you :
To be successful, you will demonstrate :
Certificate III in Field Petroleum Operations or equivalent.
Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as AMO, CASA, EASA, and/or FAA.
Experience in hot and cold refuelling of helicopters.
Technical knowledge related to the aircraft project type.
Special Requirements :
Applicants must be eligible for an Australian Defence Security Clearance.
