Job Title: Service Director
About the Role
A leading Australian company specialising in heavy transport and mobile equipment is seeking an experienced Service Director to join their Senior Leadership team.
This pivotal role will provide strategic oversight, operational governance, and performance management across multiple sites in Australia. As a key member of the leadership team, you will be instrumental in developing operational capabilities and positioning the service division for sustainable growth and operational excellence.
Main Responsibilities
* Operational Oversee the Service departments of heavy mobile and transport equipment across multiple sites
* Develop and implement improved repair and service schedules, procedures, and regimes to align all locations
* Implement standardised quality control processes and customer service standards
* Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitoring systems across all locations
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will require:
* Relevant trade qualification (e.g. HD Mechanic, Vehicle Body Builder, Auto Electrician)
* Proven experience in a Senior Leadership Position in a Maintenance or Service role (Transport, Mining, Agriculture)
* Professional qualification in Leadership and Management (highly desirable)
* Strong background in ERP and Operational Management Systems with Data Analysis (highly desirable)
