An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Plant Developmental Biology to join our team at the University of Sydney.

Location: Camperdown Campus, School of Life and Environmental Sciences (SOLES).
* About the Role:
This is an international ERC-funded project aiming to re-engineer by design a complex developmental system – the flower.
* Remuneration:
A base salary from $105,314 - $116,679 p.a + 17% superannuation.
About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Research Associate to work on flower development using the model plant species Arabidopsis thaliana as part of a collaborative ERC-funded Synergy project.
The research will focus on documenting the expression domains of key developmental genes and using fine-scale perturbation approaches combined with live-imaging and multi-plex in situ hybridization to test regulatory hypotheses.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Generate and maintain transgenic Arabidopsis lines containing GFP expression reporters.
* Work closely with the Heisler lab and interdisciplinary partner labs located in the UK, Germany and Sweden.
* Travel to conferences and participate in collaborative research activities.
