Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Traffic Engineering Lead to join our growing project team. As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of project transport systems while adhering to Australian Standards and Main Roads Codes of Practice.
This is a challenging opportunity for a dedicated professional with expertise in assessing and designing complex traffic management plans, conducting pre-planning and risk assessments, and overseeing the progressive stages of long-term projects.
* Develop and implement comprehensive traffic management plans, including Traffic Guidance Schemes.
* Conduct thorough pre-planning and risk assessments to identify potential issues and develop strategies for mitigation.
* Oversee and coordinate the various phases of traffic-related tasks on the project, ensuring timely completion and regulatory compliance.
* Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients and community groups, to provide technical advice and support.
* Supervise and assist on the day-to-day activities of the Traffic Management team, ensuring accurate records and reporting.
The selected candidate will possess advanced level of MS Office skills, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word & Excel, as well as current TfNSW Traffic Management certification (e.g. TC, IMP, PWZ).

Requirements
* 5+ years' experience in traffic engineering or related field.
* Current TfNSW Traffic Management certification (e.g. TC, IMP, PWZ).
* Degree in Civil Engineering, Traffic Engineering, Transport Planning or related discipline.
* Advanced level of MS Office skills, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word & Excel.
