Overview
IKAD Engineering is a proud Western Australian company delivering high-quality engineering and project solutions across multiple industries. We are gearing up for upcoming projects within our fabrication workshop and are seeking experienced Industrial Painters to join our Henderson-based team. This is a permanent, workshop-based role (no FIFO). Applications are encouraged from candidates currently based in Perth, including those eligible for employer sponsorship.
Key Responsibilities
* Blast and prepare fabricated components to specification
* Clean, mask, and preserve surfaces prior to coating
* Mix and apply industrial coatings (airless & conventional spray, brush or roller)
* Maintain high safety, quality, and housekeeping standards
About You
* Minimum 3 years' experience in industrial blasting and painting
* Strong knowledge of industrial paints and coating systems
* Forklift ticket and reliable transport
* Safety-focused, reliable, and team-oriented
* Flexible to work overtime when required
* Currently residing in Perth with valid Australian work rights
* Sponsorship may be considered for the right candidate
Desirable (Not Essential)
* Cert III in Surface Preparation & Coating Application
* C-Class Driver's Licence
* EWP, Confined Space, or Working at Heights tickets
