Offer description

Minimum Wage Guarantee Information for Fruit Picking Jobs: Remember, under the Horticulture Award, you must be paid at least the minimum wage for each day you work. If you're paid by piece rate for a fruit picking role, you should earn at least 15% more than the minimum hourly rate for your classification. Ensure you receive a piecework record before starting, detailing your pay rate. Be informed - you can read more about minimum wage and piece rates for fruit picking jobs here.

Hiring Multiple Blueberry Pickers for the Summer Season

The summer blueberry season has arrived in this region. The peak harvest period will be from mid‑December to mid‑January, with very high fruit volume. No experience is required – backpackers who want to try picking work are all welcome. After the season finishes at the end of January, we will help arrange other picking or farm‑maintenance jobs, so you can stay in the same area and continue earning payslips for your Second‑Year Visa. I understand that this region sometimes has a bad reputation, but there are also good teams and good experiences — it all depends on who you join. Our team is mostly Japanese backpackers, along with a few from other Asian countries. Some have even completed their visa days and decided to stay longer. Please don't worry – I will not deceive you. I will patiently provide the latest local information and answer all your questions. Only join after you fully understand everything and feel completely comfortable.

Recommended for people who…

* Want to complete their Second‑Year / Third‑Year visa days (88 days / 179 days)
* Are still deciding and want more information
* Have no farm experience or weak English – it's totally fine
* Want to enjoy a beautiful beach town while working
