Job Opportunity: Lead Educator for Two-way Science Initiative
The Kimberley region is seeking an experienced educator to lead the Two-way Science Initiative. This role requires a deep understanding of culturally responsive teaching and learning programs, as well as experience in developing partnerships with Aboriginal communities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement the Two-way Science Initiative across the Kimberley region.
* Provide professional learning opportunities for teachers and support staff to develop culturally responsive practices.
* Collaborate with local and regional Aboriginal organisations to deliver professional learning and support schools in embedding culturally responsive practices.
Essential Requirements:
* Australian or New Zealand citizenship, permanent residency, or a valid visa with relevant work rights.
* Ability to obtain a National Criminal History Check and hold a current 'C' or 'C.A.' class drivers' licence.
* Willingness to undertake travel throughout the state, including overnight stays in non-metropolitan locations and traveling in small aeroplanes to remote locations.
* Current Working with Children Check.
