We're seeking confident, clear communicators with strong customer service instincts to join our Communications Centre at Noble Park North. This is a role is flexible with the option of casual, part-time or full-time after 6 months, for the right candidate.
You'll coordinate the non-emergency transport of patients across Victoria — working with hospitals, aged care services, patients and road crews to make sure every journey runs safely and smoothly.

About the Role
Based in our Noble Park North Communications Centre, you'll be the calm, professional voice linking patients, hospitals, and our road crews. Every shift, you'll manage calls, enter bookings, and ensure smooth dispatch of patient transport.
It's a fast-paced, rewarding role suited to someone who thrives in a team, enjoys clear processes, and is passionate about quality customer service in a healthcare setting.
A current police check is required for this healthcare position.
What You'll Be Doing
* Answer inbound calls from hospitals, healthcare staff and patients
* Enter bookings accurately using Computer Aided Dispatch software
* Communicating job details with road crews in a calm, clear and confident manner
* Making fast, accurate decisions based on patient needs, timing, and vehicle availability
* Using clinical guidelines to categorise acuity and match the right crew to the job
* Keeping accurate records, logs and shift notes for every job and handover
What We're Looking For
* Minimum 6 months experience in healthcare, dispatch, bookings, or customer service is required
* Australian work rights are legally required for this position
* Ability to stay calm and professional under pressure
* Strong computer skills – comfortable navigating multiple systems
* Excellent verbal communication and a confident phone manner
* Ability to work across a rotating roster including weekdays, weekends, and public holidays
* Bonus: knowledge of healthcare terminology, aged care, or non-emergency transport
