**The Role**:
People and Culture's emphasis is on excellent customer service by providing a high level of support, guidance, and advice across all of our brands but predominately for AAT Kings Group in managing their human resources needs. We want our staff to feel heard, understood, and committed to the growth and success of our business, the team, and themselves.

Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR Advisor role is critical to the success of the AAT Kings Group business. Working from offices based in Bondi Junction and Alexandria, they will have a primary focus on the People & Culture functions for our employee group in the Northern Territory (some business travel required to the NT) and will also support employees based in Sydney (Head office) and in Cairns.

In this role, the HR Advisor will provide timely, accurate, advice and support to the NT and Sydney based Leadership teams and staff on a range of People & Culture initiatives, policies, procedures, systems, and issues. The end-to-end support encompasses all facets of the recruitment & selection process, onboarding, learning & development, succession planning and performance management.

**How you'll spend your time**:

- Actively promoting an environment that fosters safety, care, positivity, and wellbeing of our staff, guests, and our business partners (because you're passionate about people)
- Driving the recruitment and retention strategies by working closely with our leaders to make sure we have the right people in the right job and the right fit for our business, and then continually developing our teams to be better and promoting career pathways within the business.
- In conjunction with NT and Sydney based leaders review, learning and career development programs and pathways.
- In conjunction with NT and Sydney based leaders provide guidance and deliver on the performance management process.
- In conjunction with Manager of HR, assist with EBA renegotiation and delivery.
- Maintaining human resources data bases and work with leaders to ensure correct recording and compliance of all staff and employment related information.
- Facilitating the WH&S function for compliance and completeness.

**We'd love to talk to you if you have many of the following**:

- Minimum 2-3 years in a similar role in a medium to large commercially focused company with results to match.
- Demonstrated experience working with multiple Modern awards and Agreements.
- Confident ability managing all processes of the employee life cycle including recruitment, onboarding, career progression, performance management, redundancy and termination.
- A passion and value for outstanding internal customer service, combined with a demonstrated history of developing, supporting, and coaching people and teams to be better.
- An ability to handle confidential issues with tact and diplomacy.
- A diversified knowledge of contemporary HR practices and the ability to communicate and share this to staff of varying levels of understanding.
